The Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation had a disorganized website that was confusing people and turning away donors. At MRM McCann, I worked on a team with an Art Director and a UX designer to completely rethink their website. We started with a strong story on the home page that shows people why the Fisher Center is unique. Most Alzheimer's research organizations are primarily concerned with care, whereas the Fisher Center is focused on finding a cure. And they are leading the way with many breakthrough findings that have advanced the field by many years.
This pro bono project ended with me getting to help present the site to Nobel Laureate Dr. Greengard and the board. We also got a tour of their facilities, met a ton of super smart scientists, saw the actual Nobel Prize medal in person, and watched a machine slice a mouse brain. Site link: alzinfo.org
